Preventing the need for orthodontic therapy.

On the basis of a detailed diagnosis, it is possible to identify children who will have “crooked” teeth, and implement therapeutic strategies during their dental exchange (generally 5-6 to 12-13 years of age), to induce the spontaneous and correct eruption of permanent teeth. In other words, it is possible to prevent the need to “straighten the teeth” at a later stage with more complex and possibly more invasive equipment.

During the growth of the skull, when the milk teeth are still present, it is possible, without touching the permanent teeth and often without collaboration, to prevent dental crowding, to obtain good occlusion and postural relationships and to reduce the invasiveness of a possible quest for excellence in an aesthetic pursuit.

Our goal in these young patients is to make teeth grow “straight and healthy”, creating the conditions for never having to need a dentist.
